Ultra PurePep Pathway “Inside”

The proprietary ultra PurePep Pathway is enhanced with a dedicated microfluidic matrix valve block pathway for each reaction vessel resulting in pure peptides. Nitrogen and vacuum move all fluids through the system, the membranes are resistant to harsh chemicals, there is zero dead volumes, no cross-contamination, and best-in-class performance that lasts for years. Other systems use off-the-shelf valves that leak or corrode, result in cross-contamination, and quickly fail when exposed to harsh peptide synthesis chemicals. With the ultra PurePep Pathway inside the Tribute® instrument, all fluid deliveries are verified via optical sensors and you have reliable peptide purity every time.

Infrared (IR) heating

Efficient heating, reaching set temperature in minimal time. It is also fully-compatible with vortex mixing, so you can be sure you have an even temperature profile. Other heating systems use nitrogen mixing, which may result in hot and cold spots and effect the consistency of your chemistry.

Automated cycle dependent volume incrementation

Tribute can automatically adjust delivery volumes to account for resin volume increases as your synthesis progresses. Delivery volumes will increase by an increment of your choice each cycle.

Real-Time UV monitoring

Minimize trial-and-error when synthesizing difficult peptides using the Intellisynth® real-time UV monitoring on the Tribute instrument. What makes our UV monitoring different? Other systems just monitor the waste stream. We monitor your reaction solution while it’s mixing – that’s why we’re the only ones who can control the deprotection reaction times, not just the number of repetitions. Real-time UV monitoring ensures that reactions are completed efficiently and no excess reagent is wasted.

Software features

E-mail notification: Always be “in touch” with your synthesis and have the Tribute send an email to a computer or cell phone at a specified program step, at the beginning of each cycle, or if an error occur.Safe response: to ensure your synthesis is protected the safe response software feature can be setup rinse and drain a reaction with solvent of choosing if interrupted for any reason.

Automated cleavage

Tribute can deliver TFA to the reaction vessel from a solvent bottle or an amino acid vial. Afterwards, your cleaved peptide is collected in a 50 mL centrifuge vial in Tribute´s convenient collection stand. Just add either directly to the collection vial and centrifuge to precipitate your peptide!
