About the job

Gyros Protein Technologies is growing significantly in Europe and the primary function of the role is to support customers in France and French-speaking areas. You will have a great opportunity to learn how we work for the innovation of life science through a commercial approach and contribute to bringing new medicines to the market. You will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to support customers in the region.

In this role, you will

  • Be responsible for application support to and training of Gyrolab platform users at customers' sites
  • Contribute to the sales process by providing technical support and presentations to the customer
  • Follow up with customers to provide technical support and provide support to all customers on an ongoing basis
  • Support the evaluation of new methods for potential customers and develop plans for customer evaluation projects
  • Perform laboratory work in the customer's laboratories and in the Gyros laboratories when required

Additionally, there will be great opportunities to attend scientific conferences and to keep updated with the latest advances in the field. 

What we are looking for

You will need a minimum of a BSc Degree (PhD preferable) in a relevant scientific discipline together with an interest in support and in bringing science and customer relations together. After graduation, you should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Existing Users of the Gyrolab System and extensive immunoassay experience would be beneficial

The role requires candidates to reside in Central Europe and there will be a requirement to be able to communicate in French and English languages.

The position reports to our Director Field Application Specialists based in the UK.
