Gyros Protein Technologies’ growth and current dynamics brings the division to strengthen its team and, in this momentum, recruits a Regional Sales Manager for the Immunoassays Systems business (Gyros) for EMEA region (Italy, Switzerland and Israel). The position will be home-based in Italy.

About the job

The Regional Sales Manager for Gyros will be our face and contact towards our existing and potential customers. The focus for this position is account and relationship development for our capital equipment, consumables, and service business.

Our prime customers are Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies, CROs and CDMOs involved in the development and production of biotherapeutics (Antibodies, Vaccines and Gene Therapies)

You will be part of the European sales team and your reporting manager will be the Head of Sales EMEA, based in France. You will have the support of an Inside Sales, Field Application Specialists, as well as Service Engineers, to ensure our customers satisfaction. The position covers Italy, Switzerland and Israel

The position includes the following responsibilities and activities:

  • Develop and execute the sales strategies to achieve annual sales and revenue target
  • Manage and strengthen existing customer relationships and secure repeat business
  • Identify new opportunities and customers to build a solid sales pipeline. This will involve prospecting activities, leads generation and qualification, and attendance to trade shows.
  • Deliver product presentation and organize evaluations (with FAS support)
  • Provide sales forecast information and update CRM
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Contribute to marketing and application development activities
  • Other tasks as assigned by Senior Management 


  • Sc or higher education in biotechnology, biology or a related field.
  • A degree in a different field and relevant work experience can also be of interest


  • B2B sales in Life Sciences
  • A plus if you have experience of immunoassays
  • A plus if you have experience of capital equipment sales


  • Eager to contribute to innovation in Life Sciences through the commercial approach
  • Team player
  • Interested in establishing solid and long term business relationships
  • Interested in technical products, keen to learn and convince
  • Excellent social skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
