We are now looking to recruit a Field Application Specialist

We are growing significantly in Europe at the moment and the primary function of the role is to support customers in your territory. You will have a great opportunity to learn how we work for innovation of life science through a commercial approach and contribute to bringing new medicine to the market. You will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to support customers in the region. There will be a great learning opportunity for you where you will be getting both training and practical experience and the ability to grow together with the rest of the team.

In this role you will be responsible for application support to and training of Gyrolab users on the customer's site. You will contribute to the sales process by providing technical support and presentations to the customer. You will follow up with customers to provide technical support and will provide support to all customers on an ongoing basis. You will also support evaluation of new methods for potential customers and develop plans for customer evaluation projects. There will be a great opportunity to attend scientific conferences and to keep updated with the latest advances in the field. You will perform laboratory work in the customer laboratories and in the Gyros Protein Technologies laboratories when required. 

You will need a minimum of a BSc Degree in a relevant scientific discipline together and an interest in support and in bringing science and customer relations together. After graduation you should have a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. Existing users of the Gyrolab® System and extensive immunoassay experience would be beneficial.  As a person you are results-driven, flexible, eager to learn and good at building trust. For this position travel will be mainly within the UK but will support other regions when required. You should be fluent in English and the ability to speak other languages would be beneficial.
